One of several PBY Catalina flying boats wrecked in the harbour.
Catalina A24-205 crashed during take off and lies resting with one wing crumpled and the other still supported above the sand. The tail has been ripped off. The cockpit is worth a look as controls and the steering wheels are still visible also the forward gun turret.
